UPMC welcomes Amy Curry, DO, FACS, to the colorectal surgery team in Williamsport. Dr. Currie specializes in laparoscopic and robotic surgery of the colon, intestines, and appendix, as well as anal and rectal disorders.
Dr. Curry earned his medical degree and completed his general surgery residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed her fellowship training in minimally invasive colorectal surgery at the Colorectal Clinic in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Curry most recently worked as a general surgeon and colorectal surgeon at BayCare Medical Her Group in Bartow, Florida, specializing in minimally invasive surgery. She specializes in surgical procedures, robotic surgery, complex anorectal diseases, and endoscopy.
“Coming to Williamsport as a health care provider feels like home to me,” Dr. Curry said. “I attended Lycoming University as an undergraduate and the time I spent there fueled my passion for medicine. I am thrilled to be returning to this area as a fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon. We look forward to providing excellent care to our community.”
